Gimbsheim duck ; From 1958 to 1963, Orpington was bred from American Pekin and Saxony ducks in Gimbsheim (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany).
Medium-sized, graceful and calm blue fluffy shrew. The breeding goals were also good meat quality and good laying performance.
A balanced blue feather color is required. The long, well-rounded, almost horizontally carried body is an important breed characteristic.
